The advantage of bullet proof Zirconia Cearmic is its extremely high fracture toughness, high bending strength and high hardness, the zirconia ceramic can be used as vehicle protection armour (such as war craft, armed helicopter, tank, infantry fighting vehicle, armoured vehicle)and body protection amour (such as bullet proof vest, bullet proof helmet) . The bullet proof zirconia ceramics includes zirconia alumina ceramics (ARZ), and high purity yttria stabilized zirconia ceramics.
