● Application:

Bullet proof Boron carbide ceramic is one of the the hardest ceramic material on the earth, the hardness can reach 3000kg/cm2 , this makes the boron carbide become an superior material for ballistic protection . Compared with silicon carbide and alumina ceramic, the boron carbide ceramic density is 2.53 g/cm3 only, which can significantly reduce the weight of the bullet proof vest and the weight of the protected vehicle. Beside, The Bullet proof Boron carbide ceramic also has very high fracture toughness and bending strength, which can withstand multiple shots, The bullet proof boron carbide ceramic can be used as vehicle protection armour (such as war craft, armed helicopter,  tank, infantry fighting vehicle, armoured vehicle)and body protection armour (such as bullet proof vest,  bullet proof helmet).
