● Application:

The advantage of bullet proof Zirconia Toughened Alumina (ZTA) ceramic is its extremely high fracture toughness, high bending strength and high hardness, while th cost is relatively lower than high purity zirconia ceramic. At the same time, the density is lower than high purity zirconia ceramic, which can help to reduce the weight. The zirconia toughened alumina ceramic can be used as vehicle protection armour (such as war craft, armed helicopter, tank, infantry fighting vehicle, armoured vehicle)and body protection amour (such as bullet proof vest, bullet proof helmet).
